Collins Primary Science is designed to fully support the Cambridge Assessment International Education Primary Science Curriculum Framework and has been carefully developed to meet the needs of both students and teachers in international classrooms. The content is clear, engaging, and structured to help young learners build a strong foundation in science.
Topics are organised around the three main science strands—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Within each strand, scientific enquiry skills are introduced and developed in context, helping students learn how to think, question, and investigate like scientists rather than just memorising facts.
For each stage from 1 to 6, as outlined in the Cambridge Primary Science Framework, the series provides a complete set of learning resources. This includes a full-colour, highly illustrated Student’s Book with rich photographs, a write-in Workbook that links directly to the Student’s Book, and a comprehensive Teacher’s Guide with clear guidance on how to use the materials effectively. The Teacher’s Guide also supports the use of digital components included in the course.
In addition, a DVD-ROM is provided with slideshows, video clips, extra photographs, and interactive classroom activities to enhance learning and engagement. As part of a trusted set of resources for the Cambridge Primary curriculum framework (2011), this title is officially endorsed by Cambridge Assessment International Education, giving educators confidence in its quality and curriculum alignment.
